Derek Woodman was Undersheriff to Sheriff Minor when in 2011, Sheriff John Minor persuaded Summit county board of county commissioners to create a gun ban on county-owned property. Derek Woodman failed to act to stop John Minor's violation of the second amendment.
This is the Summit Daily News article from September 13 2011 which describes Sheriff John Minor's gun ban:
Derek Woodman, who can't be trusted to uphold the second amendment, is now running for Sheriff so Derek Woodman can be a big-government Republican gun-grabber.

McCain Advocates For East-German Spy Powers
While there was early arm-waving and lying by major news media about supposed communication channels which may
have been used before the Paris murders, the facts are showing the
criminals used common plain-text messaging (known as "SMS" outside the
USA).
In the wake of the Paris murders, John McCain is advocating for additional spy powers for the American government. There are a couple fundamental problems with encryption with back doors: 1) criminals can't be forced to use it as they can make their own encryption and 2) back doors will be found and exploited by foreign adversaries and even criminals.
John McCain is an enemy of liberty and the Constitution which he swore an oath to uphold and protect.

Eric Buck is a Socialist
Republican candidate for Colorado Governor, Bob Beauprez, recently said he will work to repeal the voter-approved recreational marijuana regulatory scheme. The voters passed this initiative and there have been very few problems legalizing and regulating a consensual adult choice. Bob Beauprez doesn't care about choice and will remove the voter-approved ballot initiative and recriminalize possession of marijuana. Bob Beauprez is out of touch with liberty, with Colorado voters, and he is another old angry white Republican failed candidate.
Following in Bob Beauprez's footsteps, vice-chair of the Summit county Republican party and recent loser for a spot on Breckenridge's town council, Eric C. Buck has taken a stand against marijuana and against the will of the voters.
In fact, Eric Buck hilariously wrote that town council should ignore the will of the voters! From Eric's letter to the editor: "Instead of taking a stand in the best interest of Breckenridge, council has decided (kind of) to defer to the whim of the voting public."
In the real world (outside of elitist Republicans), voters can do what they want within the bounds of property rights and the Constitution. Eric Buck thinks he knows better than Breckenridge voters (who decriminalized marijuana possession years before it was done at the State level) and thinks Socialistic dictates should be handed down.
Bob Beauprez and Eric Buck are Republican party insiders who are desperately flailing to keep control of their shrinking base of supporters.
Eric Buck claims to sell real estate for a living, yet doesn't respect property rights. Eric's letter to the editor goes on to suggest ignoring property rights and, "Ban any shops on Main Street ...".

Will Sheriff Minor's Gun Ban Signs Keep Us Safe?
When Sheriff Minor supported the county gun ban, his reasoning was that a few people wanted it. Apparently some people are scared of guns, and they think a sign will prevent criminals from carrying guns. Sheriff Minor could have stood behind his oath of office to support and defend the constitution, but he caved in. The part about "shall not be infringed" was ignored by Sheriff Minor.
The Summit county gun ban is being implemented. These pictures are from the Summit county medical center. The gun ban sign is not obvious, and after a stairwell. But that's okay in Sheriff John Minor's land of make-believe in which signs stop bullets.

Frisco Corporatism
Frisco sells discounted land to Whole Foods developer
... the council voted 4-2 to move forward with the land sale...Kim Cancelosi voted yes on the sale.
The purchase agreement between the town of Frisco and Brynn Grey partners allows the developers to buy the 9.4-acre parcel for $4.5 million. It includes a deed of trust and a subordination agreement under which the town agrees to subordinate up to $5.4 million for infrastructure improvements. The agreement also allows the town to take over payments should the developer default on its loan. The “Interstate Parcel” property sale includes a promissory note from the developer with a term of 20 years. The note has an annual interest rate of 2.25 percent, with no principle or interest payment required for the first 10 years. If the developer constructs the five buildings by June 3, 2018, the interest rate will drop to 1.75 percent. The contract includes a “personal guarantee” by the developer for the first three years of ownership. The developer is not required to make payments on the property until June 3, 2024.
“I have been in business and done commercial developments and own a number of properties, and I have never heard or seen anything like this business deal,” said Frisco resident Lou Wagner.“The idea of not getting any principal payments for that period of time and the lack of security beyond three years, all of those things just go against everything I know about sound business deals,” he said.
Mayor Gary Wilkinson voted yes on the sale.
One council member was absent.

Morgan Liddick Forgets About Big-Government Lincoln
In the August 6 2013 Summit Daily News, Morgan Liddick starts with, "Why should there be states?
The answer isn’t as simple as one might imagine." Playing to his big-government readers, Morgan writes about federalism and the progressive takeover of state privileges, "This began with the 17th Amendment and accelerated under Presidents
Roosevelt, Johnson and Nixon, reaching a culmination with the current
resident of the White House, who shows real enthusiasm for using the
federal apparatus against states which challenge his authority."
Unfortunately, Morgan forgot about the celebrated Republican President who started the big-government grab in the 1860s. President Lincoln suspended constitutionally protect rights in order to force southern states to collect the increased federal import tariffs.

Along with a declaring martial law, President Abraham Lincoln ordered the suspension of the constitutionally protected right to writs of habeas corpus in 1861 ...Before Morgan Liddick celebrates Lincoln during the GOP's next Lincoln Day Dinner, he may want to learn about Lincoln's tyranny in The Real Lincoln, by Thomas DiLorenzo.

McCain Reaffirms Big Government
This bill would have made it clear that states could regulate product ingredient labeling. John McCain voted against the bill, showing he believes the federal government should be in charge of everything. This is another example of McCain acting like big government Obama.
Which so-called Republicans voted for a McCain presidency? It would have been about the same as the Obama presidency - continuing Guantanamo Bay indefinite detention, more wars, more big government.
GMO Labeling Bill Voted Down In Senate
The votes are here.

GMO Labeling Bill Voted Down In Senate
The United States Senate decided again Thursday that it simply does not want to let states tell people whether or not they are eating genetically modified food.
The Senate voted overwhelmingly -- 71 to 27 -- against an amendment to the sweeping farm bill, squashing a measure that would not have required labeling of genetically modified organisms, but merely would have let states decide if they wanted to require such labeling.

Sheriff Minor's Next Target?
Remember when Sheriff John Minor supported a county gun ban? The ban was going to be noticed by signs on county property. Criminals, by definition, don't follow laws and ignore signs. Since Sheriff Minor thinks signs keep people safe, his next sign may read "No Construction Vehicles". Would that have kept the people in Washington state safe from a criminal with a bulldozer?
Actually, maybe Sheriff Minor will petition the state legislature to require a background check, fingerprints, and yearly fee to possess a bulldozer. After all, bulldozers can kill people too. This is not a joke, as it was reported the county gun ban was instituted by request of Sheriff Minor:
The resolution was written and passed at the request of the sheriff's office, but was not drafted in response to any particular incident, commissioners said.

John Minor, The Sheriff From Vail Resorts
The Denver Post has found that Sheriff John Minor used Vail Resorts' marketing and lawyer's words in a letter that was published in a local newspaper. The letter was published under the purview of the office of county Sheriff. While law enforcement should work with local companies, why is law enforcement colluding with companies to manipulate public opinion? After this show of deception, why should we trust John Minor's word about anything?

John Minor Hides His Colors
Like a chameleon, Sheriff John Minor is changing his colors. A couple years ago he supported restricting guns on Summit county government property.
Now Sheriff Minor claims to be against the nanny state, "In today's over-regulated society, we need to ask ourselves if it is really the role of government to intercede on our behalf for every issue that arises. Shall we become like New York City ..."
Sheriff Minor supported the county gun ban, so he does support New York City's nanny state.
When it comes to upholding his oath of office to support the Constitution, Sheriff Minor says he can't do that, "Some top cops have flat out refused to enforce the new law. Minor says he can't."
Sheriff Minor can and should ignore the unenforceable law, but he won't. The actions of Sheriff Minor show he doesn't support the Constitution, he supports the policies of big government politicians such as Millie Hamner who voted for the bill that John Minor will support.

Guy Pacot Hinders Christianity
Guy Pacot, formerly affiliated with the Summit county Republicans, endorsed Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney is a cultist who believes women have second status and that humans can achieve the status of God. Mitt Romney, through his adherence to a cult, has pledged to follow the teachings of the cult first - before the US Constitution.
Guy Pacot is said to be a Christian and member of a Summit county church, "Pacot is a member of Rocky Mountain Bible Church in Frisco and the local Republican Central Committee. " How does Mr. Pacot endorse a cultist who is not a Christian and who will make an oath of office subservient to his cult leaders?
In the same letter, Guy also endorsed the big government gun grabber Debra Irvine.

Vicki Cook Complains About Her Son Taking Welfare
Vicki Cook didn't complain that her son took welfare from the county, she complained that he was required to show identification! Of course someone who receives low income aid to the needy should show identification - how else can government easily determine if the person is an illegal alien?
"My son had to show his ID to get a breast pump from the county health nurse. What's wrong here?"
My first thought of what is wrong is that your allegedly conservative family is complaining about taking government welfare.
"This is an impeachable offense, loosing our AAA credit rating and increasing our debt by $5 trillion."
Not only is a debt downgrade not an impeachable offense, CONGRESS is responsible for spending bills.
Vicki Cook is a Romneyite Mormon who apparently will vote for the gun-grabbing liberal Willard Mitt Romney. Read her entire rant here.

Debra Irvine Will Not Cut Spending
Debra Irvine is registered as a Republican, but she talks like a liberal Democrat. Debra's quotes about how she will support big government.
Debra Irvine believes in an overbearing nanny state:
We need to defend reasonable regulations ...
Conservatives who would like a tax cut will need to pay for the cut through reduced spending. That won't be happening with Debra Irvine, because Debra Irvine believes in big budgets and big government spending:
... asked where she's prepared to take an ax to the state budget if elected, her answer is simple: she'd rather not.
Debra also thinks the government should tax everyone to pay for advertising. Why not allow those companies who need advertising to do their own advertising? Government-funded advertising, as promoted by Debra Irvine, is a subsidy to favored industries:
She said she would be a strong advocate for tourism in Denver ...
There are plenty of choices on the ballot for big-government spenders. Conservative Republicans should take a pass over big-government Debra Irvine.

Nanny-Government Debra Irvine
Debra Irvine does not believe in individual liberties and individual responsibilities. Debra believes in a big-government nanny state, and she manipulates statistics as talking points. Debra Irvine will work against the will of the people of the State of Colorado, who passed a medical marijuana initiative over a decade ago.
Her local paper lets Debra Irvine describe how she is a big government liberal:
Irvine cited an increase in the number of school suspensions and expulsions this year because of the use or possession of marijuana. She is concerned Colorado will become a distribution center, because we will be the only state in the nation that will have legalized marijuana.
Note the allegation of an increase, without citing any real statistics. Her concern about the State becoming a distribution center shows that instead of thinking of the State, she will be thinking about the federal government. Is she running for state house or is this a stepping stone for her to achieve a bigger throne and bigger crown?

Elizabeth Wickert Is Not Conservative
Elizabeth Wickert is an immigrant who is registered as a Republican. She is the secretary of the Summit County GOP.
She wrote a letter to the local newspaper in which she implied support for baby killing:
"Women in the Republican Party represent both ‘pro-choice' and ‘pro-life' positions..."
A Democrat called out Ms. Wickert for being a hypocrite, and closed the letter with, "This is why the Hard Right in this country must be defeated."
First she implies support for baby killing, then she motivates a Democrat to write a letter to the newspaper, and the letter includes a call to arms "must be defeated". Way to go Ms. Wickert on activating your opposition. Or maybe the Democrats aren't really your opposition because you are a big-government liberal who is registered Republican because you support endless foreign intervention and killing.

Morgan Liddick Advocates For Less Competition
Morgan Liddick is registered as a Republican in Summit County, Colorado. Morgan is a big-government war-monger who is part of the welfare class (he takes a government pension). Morgan consistently supports war and big government.
In a recent article in a local newspaper, Morgan Liddick misrepresents history and advocates for the status quo.
In the mid-1970s, we had either a preview of coming attractions or a reprise of 1929 — or maybe, both. In question were the relatively new banking institutions known as credit unions – sometimes referred to as “savings and loans,” ...
Nobody confused S&Ls with credit unions. They are different and were regulated differently. There were large regulatory failures and fraud that led to the S&L crisis. Many of the S&L chiefs that committed fraud were indicted, convicted, and served prison time. The 2008 bankster bailouts have led to few prosecutions and the chiefs continuing to cash in big bonuses, at taxpayer expense.
Colorado's very own Senator Mark Udall has been working to lift federal limits on the amount credit unions can loan to business, in the teeth of past experience.
Allowing credit unions to make commercial loans will provide additional competition for the banks. Credit unions have different regulators and insurance programs than banks. The credit union regulators will provide guidelines and oversight. Competition is good, so this bill is useful.
The real issue is allowing financial institutions that are not part of the Federal Reserve System to compete against the banks. Banks, and their Federal Reserve regulator, don't want competition. By advocating against this bill, Morgan Liddick is advocating for less competition and a continuance of the rip-off by the private cartel Federal Reserve.

Another Silverthorne Liberal
Bob Mayerle is a registered Republican who is really a big-government liberal. Bob does not support private property rights, and has twice wrote letters to a local paper supporting government seizure of land for recreational purposes.
Big government Bob Mayerle wrote on July 27:
... the town has spent excessive money on lawyer fees, lost a large grant to complete the recpath, and has spent a lot of time on meetings to try and work with these property owners. I think the last recourse for the town is to initiate eminent domain proceedings and be allowed to purchase (at fair market value) extended easement rights.

The town is attempting to allow citizens on bicycles, strollers and wheelchairs to access this section of the Blue River Trail ... This trail has clearly been an objective and part of the master plan for over 20 years, and eminent domain is the last option that the town has in order to meet the needs of the community as a whole.
